Half the Sky is raising awareness to help bring an end to sex trafficking and forced prositution.

At no point in history have more people been enslaved than women currently are in the sex trade. The exploitation of mostly women and girls forced into prostitution generates an estimated $27.8 billion each year, making it one of the fastest growing organized crime.

Lend your voice to push for stronger legislation targeting sex trafficking and supporting victims, and learn more about the organizations working to end this terrible injustice.

Until a few years ago, Sina was a sex slave in Phnom Penh, Cambodia as well. Incredibly, after escaping the hell of daily serial rape, she chose to go back and confront human traffickers like the one who enslaved her. Sina continues to go back to this underworld nearly every day, often risking her own life, to help women and girls out of sex slavery and into lives of self-sufficency and purpose.
